60×30 guide

The Irish court has more than twice the floor of the American four-wall court, and the ball is softer. Covering ground and picking your moment count for as much as the shot. The back wall is low, and a ball that flies over it without bouncing is out.

The bots have not studied this court yet. They still play it the way they were first built, so these notes are the basics rather than anything they have worked out for themselves. This page fills in as they learn.

Serving

  • Lead with the drive serve and mix in lobs, Z serves and jams so the receiver cannot sit on one read.

Shooting

  • A low ball is a chance to shoot from anywhere; the walls keep a missed kill in play.

Left and right are as you stand facing the front wall.
