Three-wall guide
Three-wall sits between the other two: longer rallies than one-wall, shorter than four-wall. The side walls help a low shot stay in, but a ball that gets by you is lost.
The bots have not studied this court yet. They still play it the way they were first built, so these notes are the basics rather than anything they have worked out for themselves. This page fills in as they learn.
Serving
- Lead with the drive serve and mix in lobs, Z serves and jams so the receiver cannot sit on one read.
Shooting
- A low ball is a chance to shoot from anywhere; the walls keep a missed kill in play.
Left and right are as you stand facing the front wall.
