Which years of which handball codes the research files cover, from 1860 to 2026: 13 codes, 311 years with a rulebook on record, and many gaps. A gap means we have found nothing for that year, not that nothing was published.

Status: automatic. A program built this from the research records; no person has reviewed it yet. Rulebooks whose publisher has not given permission appear only as a mark on a year; their text is not shown.

## Key

- Full text: a solid block. A rulebook text for the code is in force that year and has been read in full.
- Full text, part of the year: a block filled from the bottom, in proportion to the days covered.
- Witness only: diagonal lines. A rulebook for that year is known to exist and has been seen, but its text has not been read in full.
- Catalogue only: a dot in an empty box. Only a catalogue or bibliography entry shows a rulebook for that year; a question mark on its date means the year is uncertain.
- Gap: nothing drawn. No rulebook is on record for that code and year.
- Text not published: a dark bar across the block. The rulebook is on record, but its text is not shown on this site.
