# Rule 2.1: how the wording changed (Irish one-wall / Wallball (GAA)) 7 rulebooks state this rule, from January 2019 to 25 June 2026. The wording was reworded or changed 8 times. ## How to read this - Added words are marked [+ like this +]; removed words [- like this -]. - Each rulebook says what kind of change it is: unchanged, punctuation only, moved, reworded or changed. - A program matched each clause with the one before it. Automatic matches were made by the program alone; machine-reviewed ones were also checked by a second program. A person has not checked either. ## Rulebook by rulebook | Date | Rulebook | Clauses, by kind of change | | --- | --- | --- | | January 2019 | Irish one-wall / Wallball (GAA), January 2019 | 15 first recorded | | 9 February 2025 | International four-wall (40x20), 9 February 2025 | 1 unchanged | | 9 February 2025 | Irish handball, hardball (60x30 alley game), 9 February 2025 | 1 unchanged | | 9 February 2025 | Irish handball, softball (60x30), 9 February 2025 | 16 first recorded | | 9 February 2025 | Irish one-wall / Wallball (GAA), 9 February 2025 | 3 unchanged, 2 punctuation only, 7 moved, 2 reworded, 2 changed | | 25 June 2026 | Irish handball, softball (60x30), 25 June 2026 | 13 unchanged, 1 punctuation only, 2 reworded | | 25 June 2026 | Irish one-wall / Wallball (GAA), 25 June 2026 | 13 unchanged, 1 punctuation only, 2 reworded | ## The wording ### Rule 2.1, part 1 of 16 - **January 2019, Irish one-wall / Wallball (GAA)**: First recorded (automatic).
